Daniel Gibson - better known to many as "Boobie" and/or The Husband of Keyshia Cole - was arrested today in New Orleans on charges of assault and battery.
The accuser remains unidentified and details surrounding the arrest are unclear, but Gibson turned himself in to the New Orleans Police Department this morning.
Sources tell TMZ that the incident took place a few weeks ago at the Essence Festival.
Gibson balled last year for the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 5.4 points per game on 34% shooting from beyond the arc.
Cole, meanwhile, has not broken any recent laws, but she did stir up some controversy in March when she slammed Beyonce for her self-righteous lyrics.
